Children must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone should dress in their best party clothes or come dressed as your favorite storybook character. Dolls are welcome, too.
We will have raffles for dolls, clothes and accessories for 18-inch dolls, such as the American Girl doll. Our "Doll Boutique" will also be open and offers beautiful doll clothes sewn by our fabulous seamstresses. We hope to see you at this year's Tea!
Established in 1892, the Woman's Literary Union of Androscoggin County
is a membership organization. WLU's beautiful clubhouse, the historic
Horatio and Ella Foss mansion, was bequeathed to the club by Ella upon
her death in 1941. The clubhouse is on the national Register of Historic
Places and is considered one of the most important Georgian Revival
structures in Androscoggin County.
WLU holds monthly meetings on a wide variety of topics.
The public is welcome at all meetings.
WLU's clubhouse is located at 19 Elm Street in Auburn.
